Leaders At Work Online is a collection of articles on leadership written by

REGINA G. REYES, PhD Leadership Studies, Ateneo de Manila University. 

Dr. Reyes has over 30 years management and executive experience. She is currently faculty of the MBA and DBA programs of Victoria University Switzerland (Philippine campus). She has taught at the Ateneo de Manila University, Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) and Assumption College Makati.

Ms. Reyes earned her PhD in Leadership Studies at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Government with a grade of Outstanding for her dissertation. She earned her Master’s in Business Administration degree from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business, in 1989 where she was in the Dean’s List. She is also a graduate of the University of the Philippine School of Labor and Industrial Relations, Workers’ Institute of Labor Laws in 1989.

Prior to her academic career, she was president of her own company, Optimus Innovations, Inc., a training and events marketing company. She was an Organization Development Consultant to various client companies and conducted training programs for client companies.

A multi-media presence, she is the creator and Founding Editor of the People at Work subsection which came out in the Business pages of the Philippine Daily Inquirer from May 2000 to July 2006. She is also the founder of MyTrabaho.Com (www.mytrabaho.com), a job search site for jobseekers and People at Work Online (www.peopleatworkonline.com), a career site for working people. She was a Columnist of Metro Working Mom, a monthly magazine of ABS-CBN Publishing Inc., from March 2002 to June 2005. She was one of the program hosts of “People at Work sa DZRH” which later became “My Trabaho at dzRH” which aired from 2002 to 2006 dzRH, one of the leading AM radio stations in the Philippines. She was a columnist of internationally circulated magazines Asian Quality and Management Systems for several years.

Her corporate experience includes being the Corporate Human Resources Services Head of the Philippine Daily Inquirer where she served from 1993 to 2000 and introduced innovative HR programs. Prior to Inquirer, she was AVP for Personnel and Administration with GMA Network Inc.

She has conducted numerous public and in-house training programs such as strategic planning, basic management and supervisory skills, sales essentials mastery, sales promotions, interpersonal skills, communication, creativity and innovation, performance management, creating a high performance culture, team building, and many others.
